The Traverse Print Head Stand takes a signal from the Ink Jet Coder sending the attached print head in a vertical motion allowing the printer to code vertical lines.

The delay for the print is set on the Ink Jet Printer and as the head descends the printer drops its print in a longitudinal format not latitudinal, printing down the label or container.
