Nathan Wardell

Managing Director

Nathan brings over 25 years of experience in the packaging machinery industry and holds qualifications in Business, Accounting and Management.

With a lineage spanning three generations of packaging and manufacturing, Nathan took over running his father’s business, Rentafill in the mid 90’s spending 10 years building it before it was sold. He then built Packserv Australia and then Packserv Manufacturing. Packserv is now Australia’s leading packaging equipment machinery and technical services business operating Australia-wide.

Nathan has always been a strong advocate for Australian onshore manufacturing and works closely with academic bodies and university institutions for the innovation and development of materials, manufacturing processes and technologies that can be utilised and adopted by the industry and manufacturers at large. He was recently appointed to serve on the Board of APPMA, Australia’s national packaging and processing machinery association.

Andre James

National Operations Manager

With a background in genetics and biotechnology, and over 5 years’ experience in project management, Andre leads the Group National Operations for Packserv.

A diligent, analytical and solutions focused thinker, Andre helps our clients find solutions to the most complex problems.

Andre has a meticulous eye for detail in business functioning and strengthening compliance; improving processes; and elevating output, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Relied on to drive gains regardless of supply chain challenges and production-line issues, Andre has a track record devising improvement to minimise waste and reduce costs while maximising quality and yield.

Julia Casey

Chief Marketing Officer

Julia has over 20 years' experience in senior marketing roles leading teams globally within manufacturing, data management and logistics industries.

She has received multiple marketing awards for driving business growth and is passionate about brand development with deep expertise in differentiating and positioning brands within highly competitive global markets. Julia is currently completing a PhD at Macquarie University and holds a Master of Research (High Distinction), a Bachelor of Business Studies (Marketing) and a Bachelor of Health Science. She is published in the Journal of Consumer Behaviour.

Joel Seddon

NSW & ACT Sales Manager

Joel brings a wealth of technical and sales expertise to his role as Packserv’s Sales Manager for NSW and the ACT.

Starting his journey with Packserv as a technician, he has since transitioned through operations and into sales, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the business, its products, and its services. His deep technical knowledge, combined with hands-on experience, allows him to provide tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of Packserv’s customers.

Deage Kalsbeek

VIC & TAS Sales Manager

With over three decades of experience in the IT industry and, more recently in manufacturing, Deage has built a career specialising in digital transformation and business automation.

His diverse background spans business development, operations management, and technical roles, giving him a unique perspective on business efficiency and automation. Heading up Packserv’s Sales and Operations for Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania, Deage applies his expertise to help businesses streamline their packaging processes to achieve optimal productivity and long-term cost savings.

A dynamic and innovative sales leader, Becky brings a strong background in sales, operations, business support, and recruitment to her role at Packserv.

Known for her honest and transparent approach, she prioritises customer satisfaction and long-term client relationships. Adaptable and solutions-focused, Becky is skilled at driving high-performance teams to achieve exceptional sales and revenue growth.

Greg Eyre

Packaging & Automation Technician

With a career spanning decades in mechanical engineering and packaging, Greg brings a wealth of hands-on expertise to the Packserv team.

His journey began in the Australian Navy, where he qualified as a mechanical fitter.
Following his service, Greg worked as a contract fitter in high-speed packaging with Skilled Engineering, contributing to major brands like Nestlé, Kraft, and Berri Fruit Juices. His experience expanded to large-scale industrial projects, including assembling 100-meter-tall Vestas wind tower systems—then the largest in the Southern Hemisphere.
Returning to his passion for packaging, Greg has worked with Heat and Control and Mettler Toledo, specialising in servicing and maintaining advanced packaging systems. His deep technical knowledge and problem-solving skills are key to his role at Packserv, ensuring customers receive high-quality support.
Outside of work, you’ll find him on the golf course, perfecting his swing with the same dedication he brings to machinery.
